Actuarial
During this internship, you will work on impactful projects across both Property & Casualty and Life insurance. You'll organize and interpret datasets, analyze experience studies and trends, and evaluate how changes in assumptions affect business outcomes. In addition, you’ll assist with rating filings and regulatory reporting. This role encourages active collaboration with teammates who are committed to helping you learn and succeed.

Claims
This paid internship will last about 10 weeks with the first two weeks based in our Home Office in Owatonna, Minnesota. During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience with claims processes. You will get to build skills in teamwork, customer service, decision-making, communication, and multitasking. You’ll also join team meetings, take part in office events, and make a difference through community volunteering.

Information Technology (IT)
You’ll take on tasks that cover key parts of a Project Life Cycle. This includes writing programs to meet requirements, testing systems, creating clear project documentation, and joining training sessions. You’ll also collaborate with teammates to track progress and tackle any challenges in your assigned work.

Risk Consultant
This paid internship will last about 10 weeks with the first two weeks based in our Home Office in Owatonna, Minnesota. During this internship, you will assess fire hazards to spot risks and create prevention strategies. You'll visit client sites in your territory to gather insights and offer practical support. In addition, you'll build strong relationships with clients and internal teams in Marketing and Underwriting.
