Federated Insurance® employees raised $304,655 for the United Way through their annual company-wide giving campaign. With an additional $145,305 corporate donation, the total contribution reached $449,960 to support United Way agencies across the country.
“United Way serves as a cornerstone of our community, playing an important role in creating positive, lasting change for our neighbors,” said Federated® Community Relations Manager Cheryl Deason. “Federated’s partnership unites us in a shared commitment to ensure every person has the opportunity to succeed. We are proud to stand with the United Way as it continues to build a stronger, more equitable community for all.”
Each fall, the United Way campaign highlights the importance of giving, demonstrating how every dollar can make a profound impact when communities come together to help those in need.
“Whether caring for the short-term, immediate needs of individuals and families experiencing hardship, or developing strategic, lasting solutions that create prosperous communities, the United Way is a trusted leader of local charitable impact in America,” Nicholas Lower, Federated Insurance Chairman, President and CEO stated. “Federated Insurance and its caring employees across the nation are proud to once again support this outstanding organization with generous personal donations and a significant corporate contribution.”
Approximately $364,822 of the funds raised will remain in Steele County to support critical local programs.
“Federated’s dedication to supporting the community astounds me every year,” said President of the United Way of Steele County, Annette Duncan. “Instead of words, they act, not only raising the funds necessary to ensure that programs that lead people to financial security can continue, but through their volunteerism spirit. We do not have a single program or committee where Federated isn’t actively at the table supporting the cause through their talents just as much as their treasurers. We are so thankful for this partnership and look forward to the opportunity to serve side by side well into the future.”
