Pre-Employment Testing
For certain positions, you may be asked to complete pre-employment testing tailored to the role. This step allows us to better understand your capabilities and ensure alignment with the requirements of the position.
Phone Interview
If your application moves through the process, we may conduct a high-level phone interview to get to know you. This helps us learn more about your education, experience, and skills to see if they match the position you're interested in. In-Person Interview
As our hiring process continues, you may be invited to an in-person discussion led by supervisors or managers in the related business area. Here, you'll gain deeper insights into the role, our company culture, and team dynamics. Interviewers may ask you to come in again to attend follow-up interviews with Federated leaders. The interview process and order can vary depending on the position. In all phases, you can ask questions and learn more about Federated to see if it’s the right fit for you.

You may have the opportunity to participate in a job shadow experience. This gives you a firsthand look at the day-to-day responsibilities and work environment.
Reference Checks
We conduct reference checks prior to extending conditional offers of employment. Please make sure the references you provide are ready to receive a call from Federated Insurance representatives.
Background Checks
As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment, Federated conducts background checks. This includes criminal background checks and drug screens. This applies to all candidates who accept a conditional job offer.
Additional checks, such as driving records and credit checks, may be necessary based on the position requirements.
All conditional offers of employment are contingent on passing applicable background checks.
Job Offer: The Start of Your Federated Career!
Federated communicates all conditional job offers verbally. A formal letter follows once you accept the offer. You will also receive instructions about completing background checks along with information to prepare you for your first day with Federated!
