Phone Interview

We want to get to know you! This is a high-level interview to discuss whether your education, experience, and skills might be a match for the position and Federated. See our Successful Phone Screen Tips.

This interview dives deeper into the position for which you’re being considered and is conducted by supervisors or managers in that business area. During the interview, you’ll learn more about the job and work environment; it also may include opportunities to job shadow or meet someone from the team. You may also be asked to come back for additional in-person interviews with higher-level Federated leaders. Take a look at our tips for in-person and virtual Interviewing.

Reference Checks

Federated conducts reference checks before extending conditional offers of employment. Be sure the references you provide will be ready to receive a call from Federated and able to respond promptly.

Background Checks

Federated conducts criminal background checks and drug screens on all candidates who accept a conditional job offer. In addition, and if applicable to the position, a driving record and/or credit check will be run during the interview process. All conditional offers of employment are contingent on passing applicable background checks.

Job Offer

All conditional job offers are extended verbally, followed-by a formal offer letter upon the candidate’s acceptance.
