Federated's Information Services (IS) professionals work directly with our business partners (i.e., claims, marketing, field services, underwriting, etc.) to develop, integrate, and support insurance software in the business environment. IS teams also develop and support the network and mainframe infrastructure necessary to support the business.

New IS employees receive extensive training to prepare for their roles on the IS team. Most individuals complete a four month in-house training program. Continuous education is offered through one-on-one training, in-house courses, computer-based training, and outside courses and conferences.
