Position: Administrative Assistant
Department: Field Services
Location: Owatonna MN
Primary Purpose
Provide administrative and clerical support to assist the Director of Field Services.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support:
- Produce accurate and grammatically correct bulletins, minutes and correspondence
- Manage incoming telephone, mail and electronic communication
- Establish and maintain correspondence and come-up filing systems
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Coordinate department meeting logistics and set up
- Research and compile production data using database and Excel programs. Produce and distribute reports.
- Maintain proactive workload planning, organizing and prioritizing.
- Recommend and lead implementation of process improvements.
- Assist other department administrative assistants with workload as needed.
Position Requirements
- One to two years of relevant education.
- Three years of business related experience; administrative assistant experience preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with peers. Model professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills- plans and prioritizes work.
- Ability to type 50 wpm with correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Ability to handle confidential information and work with little supervision.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States
