Position: Administrative Assistant

Department: Field Services

Location: Owatonna MN

Primary Purpose

Provide administrative and clerical support to assist the Director of Field Services.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support:
  • Produce accurate and grammatically correct bulletins, minutes and correspondence
  • Manage incoming telephone, mail and electronic communication
  • Establish and maintain correspondence and come-up filing systems
  • Coordinate travel arrangements
  • Coordinate department meeting logistics and set up
  • Research and compile production data using database and Excel programs. Produce and distribute reports.
  • Maintain proactive workload planning, organizing and prioritizing.
  • Recommend and lead implementation of process improvements.
  • Assist other department administrative assistants with workload as needed.

Position Requirements

  • One to two years of relevant education.
  • Three years of business related experience; administrative assistant experience preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers. Model professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills- plans and prioritizes work.
  • Ability to type 50 wpm with correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and work with little supervision.
  • Permanent authorization to work in the United States
